A lesson well learned - Always save your early tracks!
I found an early track with the original introduction of my new song Set O'Wheels (before the lightening struck), 'did a little magic, and now the original intro is back in the song! The final edit is now on the MUSIC Pg. for your enjoyment. Download it for Free! My new CD will have this and many more acoustic folk songs.

I wrote a song in 2006 and sang it at the Maine Songwriters Association Summer Festival that year. Alan Rich did sound and recorded all of the music. I find the song appropo for today. Here is my 2 cents in support of the Occupy Movement, on the Music page under LIVE!

Good morning!
Written in August of 2010, SET O'WHEELS takes a look at past and future. It's an enthusiastic journey about leaving the spring and summer seasons of my life and entering autumn with acceptance and a bounce :)
This song was a test for my learning and understanding of digital recording over this past year. It's run through it's fair share of trial and error, and an electric storm that wiped out the entire original introduction. After months of recording it's frustrating. But, tomorrow's another day and I'm off to finish the song. Let's hope production runs quickly and smoothly with the others. Life's a journey ... enjoy the ride!

Hello Hello!
Lot's of good things happening.
I'm making progress on the recordings of my upcoming CD and I'm very happy with the results. These new songs are now quite seasoned having been through multi phases. And I guess like with all forms of art, time is a friend.
I just wrote a new song for the collection about my new guitar called My Honeybee ~ long story short ~ I recently bought a Taylor! Over the next couple of months, it's going to be a full time effort to finish the production. Honeybee will be busy. Quik descrip = Folk music in motion with views of Americana, jazz, blues, and reggae. 'On guitar, uke, piano, percussion, and bass. Inspired by life's travels and Maine's beauty.
I spent the last year studying the new digital equipment given to me for Christmas. Now I'm finally at ease with it and enjoying the results. It's a challenge adding accompaniment, we'll see how that goes. Look for frequent updates.

Thank You everyone who came to the Norway Arts Festival.
The weather was glorious and Lucindagail, Claire Gelinas I were able to sing our hearts out with folk songs from the past and present. We sang vintage covers by Mimi Farina, PP&M, Johnny Nash, Woody Guthrie, as well as some dazzling traditionals and originals.
A wonderful day had by all!
And now off to work on my recordings for the upcoming CD :)

For the rest of the year I'll be creating in my Art Studio working on some unfinished projects.

I've also been very busy at my new job, now working as an animal care attendant at a local

Ah the sweet sounds and smells of summer!
Moore Park Art Festival on Aug 14 certainly was a highlight! Singing in the sunshine on
the Gazebo, kicking off the Festival with sing alongs and songs for kids of all ages.
I also had a blast at the Naples Public Library
and at the annual Norway Arts Fest performing w/ Lucindagail last month.
What's a little rain? We ended up hootin it up at Cafe Nomad with a full house :)
Munjfest in Portland, ME. was next and my first time there was so much fun! See new pics
on my Photo Pg.
